The BI Developer will play a pivotal role in translating client requirements into actionable insights through the creation of interactive and insightful data visualizations using Tableau. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of BISQL querying skills, and the ability to leverage Databricks for data manipulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients to gather and analyse business requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for data visualizations and business intelligence solutions.
  • Design and Develop Reports: Design, develop, and maintain interactive and informative Tableau dashboards and reports that provide valuable insights and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Data Extraction and Transformation: Utilize SQL queries and Databricks to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Consulting and Client Engagement: Provide guidance on best practices, data visualization techniques, and business intelligence strategies. Communicate effectively and present results to clients.
  • Data Quality Assurance:Implement data validation and quality assurance measures to ensure that reports and dashboards deliver accurate and reliable information.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau dashboards and reports to enhance performance and user experience.
  • Documentation: Of all Tableau visualizations, SQL queries, and data processing procedures for future reference and knowledge transfer.
