Business Development Manager – Ireland

My client is a largely successful global company specializing in the telecommunications and power industries through the manufacturing of pre-connectorized, blown fibre cabling and ducted network solutions. They are looking to hire a Business Development Manager in Ireland to grow the business by gaining new clients as well as managing and maximising potential of current clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver budgeted sales and product margins as set out at beginning of year.
  • Grow sales for the Telecom & Power sectors.
  • Introduce and sell new products as they are released by the business
  • Acquire new clients and increase the customer base year on year.
  • Manage existing accounts and implement a strategy to achieve the maximum business potential for each account.
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships and accounts, with a focus on maximising and realising sales target.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities with pro-active research and development to promote the business portfolio of industry leading solutions and services.
  • Develop and support all accounts by providing an exceptional customer service attitude and creating a culture to maintain business loyalty.
  • Produce effective and useful Sales reports.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns promoting the business across a range of platforms including social media.
  • Create forecasts and business plans

Experience Required:

  • Strong experience in business development and key account management.
  • Excellent sales, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand financial data.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing a simultaneous range of diverse activities.
  • Ability and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Full driver’s License.
  • Self-starter with good inter-personal & negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Goal oriented.
